Advice to his freshman self:

"Embrace the awkward. Moving in, making new friends, and starting a new routine are super weird! Lean into the discomfort of talking to strangers for the first time, joining a new club, and taking that chance. You just might find something or someone that you love."
Caleb Conaway
With how much he's done in the chapter and around campus, it's hard to remember Caleb is only a sophomore. He currently serves as our Vice President and was elected Recruitment Chairman as a freshman. He is also the Treasurer of Drury Young Democrats, President of the Drury Debate Union, and part of Drury Singers, Chorale, and Theater. He volunteers as a tutor with America Reads and has spent two summers with the Kansas Institute for the Blind. He's been named to the Dean's List for each of his three semesters at Drury, was named the Outstanding New Student in the Political Science Department, and was named a Choral Scholar. After Drury, he's considering law school and is interested in a career as a lawyer, diplomat, or public policy analyst.
